WOOD-ROTTING FUNGI (dry-rot and wet-rots)

David Reynolds specialises in low-disturbance eradication of fungal decay problems in buildings. We begin by undertaking a full investigation to identify the extent of the damage, and the fungal species causing the problem. The solution usually involves a combination of repairs to decayed timbers, preservative treatment of sound but vulnerable existing timber, and the remedy of any associated damp problems.

In most cases we use only the safest Boron (Borate) based preservative treatments, in liquid, gel, paste or solid form to eradicate and control fungal decay problems.

We also specialise in timber-resin repairs to decayed timbers, including the installation of the patented Rotafix TRS beam-end repair system.
